Answers to a few of the questions we get most often

+do you accept insurance?

We are a self-pay practice and do not accept insurance. We charge standard NYC rates to ensure our therapists are able to provide care sustainably. We know therapy is a major commitment and each of our highly skilled therapists are dedicated to ensuring a worthy experience. We do provide receipts for out of network reimbursement, and HSAs or Flex Spending Accounts may be used. Learn more about out of network reimbursement.

+Who do you serve?

+Where are you located?

+What are your qualifications?

All Sixth Street Wellness practitioners have their Masters of Social Work and a license to practice.

LMSW - Licensed Masters of Social Work are certified therapists and are supervised by an LCSW on the team.

LCSW - Licensed Clinical Social Workers have obtained the highest level of licensure in the field.

+how much is each session?

The average cost per session is $125 - $225 depending on the type of therapy and clinician. If you are looking for sliding scale or more affordable options, we recommend openpathcollective.org

+What should I expect during the consultation?

Our goal for the consultation is to get a sense of your needs so that we can match you with an available therapist who is the best possible fit. We will start off by asking what is bringing you to therapy, discuss what methods we use, how we work, and what you can expect for sessions. This is a great time to ask any questions you may have.
