+Where are you located?

Sixth Street is an NY based pratice and all clients must be residents of NY State. Currently, we are offering telehealth sessions using doxy.me, a HIPPA compliant platform for all sessions.

+how much is each session?

The average cost per session is $125 - $225 depending on the type of therapy and clinican. If you are looking for sliding scale or more affordable options, we recommend openpathcollective.org

+Do you accept insurance?

We are a Self Pay practice and do not accept insurance. We do provide receipts for Out of Network reimbursement and HSA or Flex Spending Accounts may be used.

+Why don't you take insurance?

All Sixth Street therapist work with non profits providing free or low cost services to New Yorkers who need it most. In order to make this work financially sustainable, we charge standard NYC rates to ensure our therapist are able to support themselves. By supporting a Sixth Street therapist, you are also supporting the ongoing commitment Social Workers make to the community.
We know therapy is a major commitment and each of our highly skilled therapist are committed to ensuring a worthy experience.

+What should I expect during the consultation

The consultation is a chance for you and your therapist to see if it's a good match. We will start off by asking what is bringing you to therapy so we can get and idea of what you are looking for and if we have a therapist that can meet those needs. Every therapist has their own style, so we will discuss what methods we use, how we work and what you can expect for sessions. This is a great time to ask any questions you may have.
